Liberty Senior Pastor
Russell Sukhia

Russ Sukhia

Born and raised in Baltimore, then moving to Florida in his youth, Russ came to faith in Christ as a third year college student, through the testimony of his brother Doug.  Russ transferred from the University of Florida to Shelton College, affiliated with the Bible Presbyterian Church, and there he was introduced to the doctrines of grace, and felt God's call to preach. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Faith Seminary in Philadelphia in 1976.

Since then he has pastored churches in New York, Tennessee and Florida.  In November of 2004 he was called from Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Ft. Lauderdale, where he was serving as an Assistant Pastor and teaching Bible at Westminster Academy, to become senior pastor of Liberty Church, PCA.  He and his wife Donna have two children, Nathan and Grace, both graduates of Covenant College, and six grandchildren.

Barry Cureton

Barry was born in Saratoga Springs New York but grew up in the suburbs of Pennsylvania. He received Christ as his Savior at the age of seven through a VBS program. In 1992 he completed his Masters of Divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. Since that time, Barry has served in a variety of ministries.

He was the first Youth Director at Proclamation Presbyterian Church in Wayne, PA , where he served for over two years. Starting in 1994 he served as the Youth and Children's Pastor in Valdosta, Georgia. In 1997 he received the call to Liberty as the Pastor of Youth and Family Ministries. Since that time he has served as Interim Senior Pastor and now assists in shepherding the flock with Pastor Russ, specifically in the areas of Christian Education, pastoral care and visitation, preaching, administration, and Men's ministry (and whatever else Russ wants him to do). Liberty Youth Pastor
Nick Hathaway

Nick Hathaway

Nick was born, raised and baptized in Bowie, MD. But it wasn't until middle school that friends and neighbors showed Nick his great need for a savior (and God's great provision of a savior.) In high school, Young Life leaders and elders of the local PCA church nurtured him in the faith. While at St. Mary's College of Maryland, Nick was trained to become a high school teacher, an Intervarsity leader, and Young Life leader.

After college, Nick taught English at a public high school before being called to be a youth director by Wallace Presbyterian. In 2001, he married the love of his life, Annie Rabenhorst. In 2003, they moved to St. Louis to begin attending Covenant Seminary. Upon graduating seminary with a renewed desire to minister the gospel of grace to youth and families, Nick was called by Liberty Church, PCA to serve as Youth Pastor in 2007. Nick and Annie are thankful for their five children: Aiden, Sophie, Clip, Martin, and Cosette.
