Nathan grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana and became a Christian his sophomore year of college at the University of Southern Indiana. Upon graduation, Nathan spent seven years on staff with a college ministry called Campus Outreach, a ministry of Second Presbyterian Church in Memphis, TN. In 2014, Nathan received a call to the pastorate, and was Associate Pastor at New City Church (PCA) in Royal Oak, Michigan.
In 2018, Nathan received a call from Liberty Church to be their next Senior Pastor. He is delighted to be at Liberty and to see how God will use this church for His glory!
Nathan received his M.DIV from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, an M.A. in Judaic Studies from the University of Michigan, and is currently a Ph.D candidate in Old Testament at University of Zurich. He is also a Visiting Scholar at Johns Hopkins University in the Department of Near Eastern Studies.
Nathan and his wife Falon have been married since 2007 and have two wonderful daughters.
Barry was born in Saratoga Springs New York but grew up in the suburbs of Pennsylvania. He received Christ as his Savior at the age of seven through a VBS program. In his early twenties, he responded to God’s call on his life to full-time ministry. Pursuing that call he attended West Chester State University where he received a BA in Philosophy. In 1992 he completed his Masters of Divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. Since that time, Barry has served in a variety of ministries.
He was the first Youth Director at Proclamation Presbyterian Church in Wayne, PA , where he served for over two years. Starting in 1994 he served as the Youth and Children’s Pastor in Valdosta, Georgia. In 1997 he received the call to Liberty as the Pastor of Youth and Family Ministries. Since that time he has served as Interim Senior Pastor and now assists in shepherding the flock with Pastor Nathan, specifically in the areas of Christian Education, pastoral care and visitation, preaching, administration, and Men’s ministry. In 2014 he received his Doctor of Ministry from Covenant Theological Seminary. Barry married his wife Margaret in 1986 and they have three children, Rebecca, Ben, and Glenna.
