The two CSB groups meet each Wednesday night for sports or other activities and for stories and lessons in God’s word. Each group has guidebooks and lesson materials for the boys to study to be able to advance in rank within Stockade and Battalion. This action packed, balanced program based on the word of God provides purposeful action, meaningful achievement progress, group dynamics, leadership development, and opportunities for Christian Service.

Battalion – Boys in grades 7 – 12 Weekly Meetings Wednesday 6:45 PM LCS Gym The Battalion group has challenging activities scheduled each month such as biking on the C&O Canal Tow Path, day hikes, back packing, river canoe trips, cave exploration, orienteering competition, marksmanship, and winter camp outs. The Battalion CSB Regional Camp-O-Rama is held each April at Hemlock Wilderness Brigade Camp in West Virginia.

Stockade – Boys in grades 3 – 6 Weekly Meetings Wednesday 6:45 PM LCS room 139 The Stockade boys build cars and rockets and participate each year in the Shape ‘N Race competition here at Liberty and the Regional Race at a local Capital Region Church. The Stockade group also has bike rides, campouts, and the annual Rocket Launch in May of each year.
