Liberty Home Instruction Fellowship

Serving Homeschoolers from Kindergarten through Grade 12.

Liberty Home Instruction Fellowship, (LHIF), is an educational ministry of Liberty Church and a registered home school oversight umbrella of the Maryland State Department of Education.

• uphold homeschooling as a noble Christian calling when done in faith and with perseverance and integrity
• ensure that each home educated child under our care receives an education in accordance with the intent of Maryland law
• encourage and equip parents in their role as competent teachers of their own children
• provide a caring network of fellowship and support for homeschooling families

The goal of the LHIF diploma program is to help parents confidently and successfully homeschool their children through high school and prepare them for formal education and life beyond graduation.

Students who successfully complete our designated course requirements are recognized as high school graduates by colleges, employers, and the Maryland State Department of Education.

We are grateful that our alumni have achieved considerable success in their educational, vocational, personal, and ministry endeavors.

Located in the back of the Old Sanctuary, it contains a growing lending library of educational books and materials as well as space to gather and hold meetings. Come check it out.

Meets the first Tuesday evening of each month at 7:00pm in the Old Sanctuary. We welcome all moms who are interested in or currently homeschooling.

LHIF is a member of the Maryland Association of Christian Home Educators.
